Bruno Fernandes has expressed his admiration for his departing Manchester United teammate, David De Gea, emphasizing that the goalkeeper deserved a more fitting farewell.
De Gea recently announced his departure from the club as his contract came to an end in June, and Fernandes believes that a farewell in the presence of fans at Old Trafford would have been a more suitable tribute who holds the distinction of being the club’s third-highest appearance maker in the Premier League.
Taking to Instagram, the Portuguese international shared his heartfelt message stating, “You already know my thoughts about you and how much I will miss you, bro.”
